DESCRIPTION
The PA93 is a high voltage, low quiescent current MOSFEToperationalamplifierdesignedasalowcost solutionfordrivingcontinuousoutputcurrentsupto8A andpulsecurrentsupto14A.Thesafeoperatingarea (SOA) has no second breakdown limitations and can beobservedforalltypeloadsbychoosinganappropriatecurrentlimitingresistor.TheMOSFEToutputstage isbiasedABforlinearoperation.Externalcompensationprovidesflexibilityinchoosingbandwidthandslew ratefortheapplication.ApexPrecisionPower'sPower SIPpackageusesaminimumofboardspaceallowing forhighdensitycircuitboards.ThePowerSIPpackage iselectricallyisolated.

Whenpin3(IQ)isshortedtopin5(CC2)theABbiasingoftheoutputstageisdisabled.Thislowersquiescentpower butalsoraisesdistortionsincetheoutputstageisthenclassCbiased.Theoutputstagebiascurrentisnominally setat1mA.Pin3maybeleftopenifnotused.
